LIFECYCLE is an idea of cosmic laws of life, wrapped in mostly rhythmic music. Compared with PSYCHIC DOME, where the depths of the human psyche are represented and discovered, Lifecycle follows the path of the outer. This is the attempt to present the pulse of life with all its ups and downs. This way the composition feels compact, earthly and in the end well understandable in everyday life. Lifecycle is no concept album designed to interprete life from birth to death, but really the artist's understanding of tasks and situations for learning in everyday life and the upcoming feelings...

The music of Lifecycle is recorded live without expensive multitrack technique. No track has been "straightend' afterwards or worked over costly. I have a special attention on livehood and energy in music. The moods of the spontaneous creativity shall be kept at all costs; in traditional indian music for instance this goes without saying...

Keyboards, synthesizer, percussion and voices are used on Lifecycle. The use of any computer hard and software was consciously avoided by the composer. Lifecycle was composed, played, recorded, mixed and arranged by Mathias Grassow in 1992/93.
